GENERAL

Backyard Bash is a multi-day music and arts festival held in Grover Hill, Ohio. It's a soul-charged celebration featuring electronic and bass music, art installations, workshops, camping, and conscious community — all under the stars in beautiful rural Ohio.

Backyard Bash takes place at a private property in Grover Hill, Ohio (21261 Rd 12, Grover Hill, OH 45849). It's a beautiful outdoor setting surrounded by nature, perfect for a festival experience.

Backyard Bash is an all-ages event. Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult ticket. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

Gates are open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. Camping guests have 24-hour access to the campgrounds once checked in.

TICKETS & PASSES

Three options: General Admission ($35, festival access only), Car Pass / Camping ($50, drive in + camp all weekend — pair with GA if you also want to attend the festival), and the GA + Camping combo ($80, both with $5 in savings). RV add-ons are also available. No VIP this year — keeping it simple and accessible.

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable. However, tickets are transferable — you may give or sell your ticket to another person. Contact us if you need to transfer your ticket.

Payment plans aren't available at these price points — but at $35–$80 the full passes are designed to be accessible. If cost is a barrier, reach out about volunteer or work-trade options.

A General Admission ticket grants access to the festival grounds during operating hours (10 AM – 10 PM). A camping pass includes everything in GA plus an overnight campsite, porta-pots, and access to communal fire pit areas. Camping guests have 24-hour access to the grounds once checked in.

CAMPING

Essentials: tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, flashlight/headlamp, reusable water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, warm layers for cool nights, rain gear, comfortable shoes, and a positive attitude. See our Info page for a complete packing list.

No personal campfires at individual campsites. We provide communal fire pits throughout the campground for gathering. Personal grills are welcome at your site.

Porta-pots are available throughout the festival grounds and campground. Note: there are no showers on-site this year — please pack accordingly (wet wipes, dry shampoo, etc.).

Yes, with an RV/Camper add-on pass. Designated RV spots are primitive — there are no electrical hookups available. Space is limited and sells out quickly, so grab yours early.

RULES & POLICIES

Allowed: blankets, lawn chairs, small bags/backpacks, sealed water bottles, sunscreen, hats, costumes, totems (under 8ft, no sharp edges), portable phone chargers, personal grills, BYOB (no glass), and good vibes. Prohibited: glass containers, weapons, drones, professional cameras, pets (service animals only), illegal substances.

Yes, re-entry is allowed with a valid wristband. You'll receive a wristband at check-in that must be worn for the duration of the festival. Do not remove or tamper with your wristband.

General parking is included with all ticket types. Car camping passes (park next to your campsite) are available as an add-on for an additional fee.

The show goes on! Backyard Bash is a rain or shine event. We recommend bringing rain gear, waterproof shoes, and a tarp for your tent. Embrace the mud — it's part of the experience.
